ANNOUNCEMENT

CEG announces Young Leaders in National Security Fellowship

We are delighted to today announce the inaugural CEG Young Leaders in National Security Fellowship, which aims to identify, nurture, and guide young people interested in counter-terrorism and counter-extremism issues.

The Fellowship is headed by two of the most eminent experts in the UK in this field: Lord Carlile of Berriew, who served as Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation between 2001-2011; and Sir Alex Younger, Chief of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) between 2014 to 2020.

Through this course, CEG will connect successful applicants to a leading range of experts and decision-makers who can provide them with exhaustive and unparalleled insight into key counter-terrorism and counter-extremism issues facing the UK today.

This free course will take place between September 6th-10th.

Applicants should visit https://counterextremism.org.uk/programmes/young-leaders-in-national-security-fellowship/ for further details.

We are also delighted to announce that Lord Carlile has today joined CEG as Senior Legal Fellow. He will provide invaluable expertise and guidance as CEG advises high-level policy makers on the key CE and CT issues facing the UK today.
